ATAV is currently on hiatus as it reviews a more sustainable approach for its volunteer based committee, switching from the provision of resources and Professional Learning to supporting the implementation of Auslan in Victorian schools in the form of advocacy.

The Auslan Teachers' Association of Victoria (ATAV) is a not-for-profit incorporated association. ATAV will look at working from an advocacy standpoint to ensure the implementation of Auslan across Victorian schools is sustainable, respectful to the language at the Deaf communication, and held to a high standard.
